With more than ten years experience as an illustrator, designer, and art director, Liz Kassler, president of House And Garden Flags, has created illustrations for stickers, greeting cards, Mylar balloons, children's educational products and books, in addition to decorative flags.

The work of artist/photographer Kathleen Kirchner is her celebration and appreciation of life. This comes from her having survived breast cancer twice. She sees herself not as a victim, but as a survivor. While recuperating, she got into gardening and flowers, viewing their season growth as a reflection of her own physical and creative rebirth.

Laure F. Carlisle's motto of "Designs For Cheerful Living" is evident in her three-fold portfolio. Her extensive range of style provides something for everyone, whether their preference lies with abstract, nature, or whimsical designs. The unifying factor in Laure's work is her use of bold, vibrant color which imbues a sense of fun and well being to the products featuring her designs.

Ruth Maystead has painted enchanting, vibrant portraits of dogs, cats & horses for over 30 years. Her unique style and ability to capture the essence of the animal as well as faultless anatomy makes her artwork popular with art collectors and animal lovers worldwide. By producing a quality line of products from her original artwork, she enables everyone the opportunity to enjoy her beautiful designs.

As a smart, young artist, Liz Strong excels in her own painterly style, with fluidity and flair. Like musical notes, her designs seem to dance with cadence up and down the scale. Her grasp of design concepts is instant, and her designs are equally swift, yet beautiful and accomplished at the same time.

In her own words: "I am a Maryland/DC native and received my bachelor's in Fine Art at the University of Maryland in 2005 - graduated Cum Laude. I have been an artist for as long as I can remember and a professional designer since I graduated. My mother, Davy, has been an inspiration and a driving force in my art career - she recognized my talent at an early age and encouraged me to develop my skills and pursue a career in the arts. She herself is also an artist - specializing in painting, print making and drawing. My mom and I have an especially close bond and I think a lot of that comes from our connection with art. She's my best critic and best friend."

Susan A. Lennon joined the staff of Premier five years ago as Art Director. In addition to supervising a group of staff designers, she herself has designed a substantial part of the fabulous kites, spinners and flags. As an artist, she truly possesses a spirited graphic style. She thrives in a vibrant mix of colors and texture that has become her own signature,
a tribute to her everlasting, radiant talent!

Jennifer Negro, Premier's Assistant Art Director, has been with them for the past five years. She is extremely talented, in a multi-faceted sort of way. Her style of art ranges from the sublime to LOL (lots of laughs). In addition to being artsy, her grasp of geometric spatial dimensions and complicated construction diagrams is always swift, and her execution meticulously accurate. Her black cat Nero can be found in her Prestige flag and Windsock design Kitty, Kitty, Kitty!
